Services
We offer both amalgam and white fillings. Some people like to get their silver fillings replaced with white tooth coloured fillings. Teeth may need to be extracted due to severe gum disease or if they are broken down due to decay. Wisdom teeth may also be required to be extracted to alleviate pain if they are impacted.
Missing tooth or teeth apart from looking unsightly may cause harm to the adjacent teeth. Neighboring teeth can grow into spaces disrupting the bite and causing food packing in interdental spaces. Dental implant, or tooth implant, is a long fixed term solution to replace a missing tooth. A titanium screw is gently threaded in the region of the missing tooth, replacing tooth root.
We are pleased to be able to offer a dedicated Dental Hygienist who specialized in full mouth disinfection, and will provide all essential hygiene services. At Pure Dental Care we believe passionately in prevention and maintenance as the key to warding off oral diseases and tooth loss. As well as your teeth, the health of your gums, mouth and general well being is essential to help you keep your teeth forever.
Dealing with a toothache is a very stressful situation as it is one of the worst kinds of pain. We at Pure Dental Care understand this and we have several options to get you seen as soon as possible during a dental emergency. If you are registered NHS or private patient at the practice you will be able to benefit from our emergency appointment services, please call the surgery as early as you can and we will aim to see you within 24 hours.
At Pure Dental Care we believe prevention to be the key to maintaining healthy teeth, gums and oral health and this starts in infancy. As a family practice we welcome children from as young as 6 months for free treatment under the NHS up to the age of 18 or until they complete higher education. Our dentists and dental therapist are here to help your little one with the all important task of brushing and looking after their teeth on a daily basis.

PURE DENTAL CARE IN GLASGOW, CATHCART ROAD surpass themselves as dentists, and not only that, from the moment that you walk through the door you are greeted by 'Ann' who just makes you feel so at ease, she really LISTENS TO YOU and CARES which is very difficult to find these days, as i had already researched others whilst trying to be seen for an abcess, and found that out of all the places (ONLY 'ANN' who was alone in the surgery as it was also a bank holiday LOOKED AT ME AND BASICALLY SAID, YOU JUST HOLD ON THERE SIR, I WOULDNT FEEL COMFORTABLE LETTTING YOU LEAVE WITH SUCH A SORE FACE I'LL CALL

Pure dental have been my dentist for years and I won’t be changing! Really friendly, professional services. I use their Hyngientst Monthly plan and my teeth have never been in better condition, I highly recommend! Great value too. Unfortunately had to have root canal earlier in the year and it was sorted expertly with no pain, discomfort or infection. Delighted.

Have been going to Rowlands dental care for the past 2 years and have found the service good. Wanted to write a review because last week I took my daughter who is very afraid of the dentist in to have her first filling which she was terrified about. Dr Rowlands managed to reassure her and made her feel like she'd been very brave. Would highly recommend this practice for anyone but especially children and unsure or anxious patients.

Could not recommend this Dental practice enough they are excellent every time my family and I visit. Dr Rowlands specifically has been of great in executing some rather tricky procedures that I’ve needed over the last few years with his confidence and demeanour settling my nerves considerably.
I am not one for writing reviews but thought to do so especially as I’ve had to rely on this practice a lot recently and every time they have been great.

Went there to get a guard made up as I grind my teeth. Was unemployed and on JSA at the time but told that I would have to pay for private treatment. The guard cost £70 which I paid. Was told that if I wore it for a year then he would build up my worn teeth with composite material. It was in my best interest to wear it as advised regardless, but in any case that's what I did and the year passed. At one year I was told by him there was no point in building up my teeth because I'd only wear them down again- which made no sense at all because I was still wearing the guard. I felt very mis-led and
