Landsail runflats are built with reinforced sidewalls and tough rubber inserts that temporarily hold up the weight of your vehicle even after a puncture - so you can safely drive home or to a garage. Advanced rubber compound and tyre cord supports vehicle weight even after sudden deflation. Enhanced compound resists heat build-up EVEN under zero pressure conditions, so you can keep on driving - no pressure.
Tyre wear affects vehicle performance and safety. Low tread results in poor grip and increased stopping distances. Make sure you regularly check the tread depth of your tyres and replace them when they are worn. You can check the tread depth by using a depth gauge. In the UK, the legal minimum tread depth is 1.6mm across the central 3/4 of the tyres tread area around the entire circumference of the tyre.
You might be familiar with this sliding scale from energy labels on fridges and freezers etc. Fuel efficiency is graded from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient). The difference between best and worst can be as much as 7.5% for cars. This chart shows wet grip performance measured under strictly controlled conditions and rated from A (best) to G (worst).
