Due to the C19 virus, I am afraid that the bed and breakfast rooms are not available at Spire Cottage for the near future. However, we do have our beautiful self catering cottage, Harry's, available for guests of up to three (one bedroom and sofa bed in lounge). Should you have four guests we can accommodate two in a ground floor annex room on a room only basis.
Please ring Jan on 07733 328951 for details or email jan@spirecottage.co.uk and I will get back to you. Award winning bed and breakfast built from the old spire of Chichester Cathedral that collapsed in 1861, and newly built luxurious self catering cottage, Harry's, offering luxurious accommodation surrounded by open fields yet just a couple of miles from the centre of Chichester.

Services
All rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished with antiques with two rooms in the main house and one room in a secluded annex attached to the house. White Egyptian cotton sheets with beautiful bedspreads, fresh flowers and The White Company toiletries give the rooms the feeling of elegance and luxury.
Our breakfasts are 'talked about' and there is a good choice using local produce. We squeeze the oranges ourselves for the lovely orange juice. Our preserves are all home made and include Whisky marmalade, Lime marmalade, Elderberry Jelly, Granny's marmalade, Blackberry and Apple Jam, to name just a few.
A 10 housekeeping fee applies if you bring a dog (Garden room only and 20 per stay at Harry's cottage) and we would be grateful if you would not leave the dog unattended in your room or into the dining room. For weekend bookings a minimum stay of 2 nights is required generally all year and two nights minimum during the summer months.
Founded by the Romans, Chichester has escaped modern development and still retains its Roman layout with its four main streets running from the 16th century market cross to the four points of the compass within the remains of the old city wall. Chichester is situated to the north of Chichester Harbour an area of outstanding natural beauty, and is linked by a canal on which boat trips are available from March to December passing through Hunston.

Due to a leak at the property where we were supposed to be saying, we had less than 24 hours to find alternative accommodation on the Saturday of Glorious Goodwood. Spire Cottage were wonderful and even gave us a discount because we were booking a late notice - others would have seen this as an opportunity to put the price up, not down! The self-catering cottage was beautiful and incredibly well-appointed. We would definitely stay there again (the home made bread and marmalade were lovely touches).

€˜Dissapointed And Upset’ - Stayed here numerous times with no problem every single year since 2009. However speaking with the owner Jan this time I found her very rude and really didn’t seem to care that I was booking again showing a heck of a lot loyalty. She was saying things like ‘well it doesn’t matter because the rooms will go anyway’. Stinking attitude considering we have stayed here every year since 2009 with friends and family. Just seems like its all about the money and nothing else. I actually confirmed a booking for two rooms via email and then I was told that the rooms were
