If you ask us for an appointment, we will try to offer you one as soon as possible at a convenient time. You can make an appointment by phoning 01405 815280. At the end of your course of treatment, your dentist will discuss with you when you will need to see a dentist again. NHS dentists now follow guidelines issued by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE).
The two main causes of tooth loss are decay and gum disease. The better you prevent or deal with these two problems, the more chance you will have of keeping your teeth for life. When the dental team and patient work together, this can help to prevent the need for treatment - especially fillings and extractions.
Over time, your face can develop permanent creases and lines, particularly around the eyes and forehead/frown area. Anti Wrinkle injections using Botulinum Toxin are one of the safest non-surgical methods to reduce these creases and create a smoother, more desirable appearance. NHS dental treatment includes all treatment necessary to secure and maintain your oral health. We also provide a full range of private treatment options for patients, including tooth whitening and wrinkle reduction. We also offer Denplan, which in many cases can reduce the cost and help budget for dental treatment.
Dentistry is one of the few NHS services where you have to pay a contribution towards the cost of your care. This covers an examination, diagnosis (including X-rays), advice on how to prevent future problems, a scale and polish if clinically needed, and preventative care such as the application of fluoride varnish or fissure sealant if appropriate.

My wife and I have been with this modern progressive practice for ten years. The reception staff are always friendly and very helpful. We have had brilliant treatment from the dentists and their assistants. Very very clean. We feel so lucky to be with this practice. It can’t be beaten. We would like to thank all the staff.

I visited Southfield dental practice in March for a consultation for composite bonding with Becca, the practice is really nice and all the staff are so so lovely! Becca talked through everything with me and what I was hoping to achieve, she added some composite to my teeth so I could see what they would look like before making my decision, the consultation was free! I also had my teeth whitened with the boutique whitening they offer which was so easy to do and gave amazing results! I then had my composite bonding 2 weeks later and I can’t put into words how happy I am! I was so self conscious
