Such a welcoming salon, this was my first time here and will definitely be going back for future styling.
My stylist Sue was very calm, friendly and knowledgeable. She has given me helpful advice on my hair… care routine & I'm looking forward to my colour treatment with her.
The salon itself is very light, clean & spacious.

Mark James has been the only hairdresser I have ever been to since I was a child and they have never given me a bad hair cut. All the ladies are really kind and friendly which is a bonus.
I had my hair dyed for the first time yesterday which I was really nervous to do. Sue was really sweet and explained everything to me. It took a good few hours to do but was extremely rewarding once it was completed.
I got exactly what I asked for. A well blended balayage of red/maroon mixed with my natural dark brown/black hair. Came out gorgeous!

Dawn has been cutting my hair on and off for a while now. After a couple of months growth due to lockdown, visited for a new cut and really happy with the cut. So easy for me to style and had lots of nice compliments too. Thank you Dawn x

I always love getting my hair done here - the guys are so friendly, so professional and just so good at what they do! I previously hated getting my hair done - it was a mess, never looked how I wanted and I wasn't brave enough to even think about colour (or afford it) but Sue and her team are just so lovely, they listen to your requests and do an absolutely perfect job, at fair and completely reasonable prices. I'd highly recommend the salon (and have done) to anyone. 10/10 service! I'll always return here!

Mark James is a lovely, welcoming hairdressers! I had my long and very thick blonde hair restyled and coloured post the gradual ease of lockdown measures and Sue did a fantastic job. She takes the time and effort to listen to the style you would like, taking into consideration your job role too! I have had lots of compliments today ☺️. Jordan to is… especially attentive and makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. They have taken special care to ensure all the pre-cautions are in place to make you feel safe. Have used Mark James for a couple of years now don't tend to go anywhere else. Lovely staff listen to what you want and always giving their best advice. Great now open in Sundays too especially for working mum like myself never finding time during week to make an appointment.
