Services
Davyhulme Park is a forward thinking, friendly Golf Club that welcomes new members and visitors alike. With continued improvement to the Course and Clubhouse over recent years, we consider it to be one of the best courses in the area and invite you to put us to the test. With a blend of both long and short inviting par four holes, Davyhulme can best be described as a true risk and reward course.
Having celebrated its centenary year in 2011, this classic 10 fours, 4 fives and 4 threes, par 72 course is easy on the legs, pleasing to the eye and deceptive in its challenge. Offering players of all levels a great challenge, through a blend of both long and short inviting holes, Davyhulme Park can best be described as a true risk and reward course.
Set in 99 acres of parkland, Davyhulme Park offers seasoned and learner players a great challenge in equal measure. With a blend of both long and short, inviting par four holes, Davyhulme can best be described as a true risk and reward course. Our par fives offer the longer hitter the opportunity to pick up a stroke, but present their own dangers with good bunkering and deep rough, to punish the errant drive or approach.
The WHS will encompass both the Rules of Handicapping and the Course Rating System (formerly known as the USGA Course Rating and Slope System). Following transition to the WHS, all Handicap Index calculations will be consistent for all players, making a Handicap Index directly comparable to all other players around the world.
A new handicap is obtained by submission of 3 DPGC cards to the Handicaps committee; the rounds played under R & A rules. The same result may also be achieved by submission of 6 9 hole cards. Completed cards may be posted in the box provided on the upstairs bar or handed to a member of the Handicaps Committee.

Great members track, very flat so an easy walk but many dog legs risk & reward holes to keep you entertained. Great firm fairways help generate plenty of spin with a crisp strike. I added a clatter mark to the tree that helps protect the drivable 11th(ish). Greens rolled superb but semi rough around the greens was a little inconsistent giving poor lies when only a few feet off the greens.

We celebrated our Ruby wedding anniversary here. The process of booking was very easy. The venue cost was very reasonable . The catering manager and his staff catered for different dietary requirements and were very helpful and pleasant. Very clean and the food was excellent. Thank you Warren. We will certainly be returning for our Golden!
