Carpe Diem Garden Design
Sustainability means designing so that we do not use more resources than our fair share; and ensuring that what we use today does not destroy the environment for people and other living things elsewhere, now or in the future.

Design for biodiversity by working within our client's preferred style (modern, cottage, formal, informal, high or low maintenance) we design habitats and small ecosystems to attract birds, provide nectar for bees and butterflies, and homes for wildlife.Garden organically by designing with Permaculture design methods, and Soil Association (organic) and Biodynamic horticulture principles.
Services
As a garden designer, my aim is to design gardens that are stylish and beautiful, and complement the nearby architecture. My garden design services also include fruit trees, shrubs and perennial edible plants. You can grow food easily in your own garden, contributing towards a more sustainable lifestyle.
I offer a variety of services from consultation and advice through to full design and construction. Together we create the vision for your garden or land: vibrant, colourful and full of life all year round. Plants and nature are a key feature, as is growing food and sustainable use of resources. My collaboration with landscapers will turn your vision into reality and ensure that the work gets done with the correct knowledge and specifications.
Capital investment in improving landscape pays environmental, social & financial dividends (Triple Bottom Line). Experience of complex decision making and organisational structures amongst statutory, voluntary & private sector organisations. This service is for organisations and businesses which occupy small properties where the site is no bigger than twice the footprint of the building.
Firbank Children's Centre: Construction of 4 Edible Ornamental Play Gardens for the children's centre on the premises of Ridge Community Primary School. Lancaster Cohousing at Forge Bank: in conjuection with EcoArc architects. Landscape design for application for planning permission for 35 home development in Halton, Lancashire.
Thank you so much for the fantastic work you have done to create such a wonderful outdoor environment for us. It has far exceeded our expectations and we can't thank you enough. It has been a pleasure to work alongside you all. We were very pleased to meet you and enjoyed the day you spent with us.

Really good to deal with and would highly recommend Jennifer Lauruol if you're looking for a garden designer in Lancaster or for garden design workshops.
