Downloaded app from company website to book a taxi for work purposes. App took £1.01 off my card, then when tried to book a taxi just kept getting a message to telephone for a taxi. The whole point in downloading the app was to avoid having to make a call (disability purposes). Hotel reception arranged a taxi instead.

Absolutely awful. Booked a taxi 4 days in advance as I understood that it was a busy night and that it was from the other end of town. However, if they did not want to come down to bulwell from town, then don't let me book the taxi! Booked for midnight and at 23:45 receive a call from a sour lady saying the taxi will be 15 mins late. I say that's fine, I understand its busy etc. Ring back at 12:10am asking if it has been dispatched. She says very patronisingly 'Katie. I told you 25 mins ago that the taxi will be there in 30 mins.' I say yes I know, just wondering if its on its way, that's all.

Really strange experience. Used Yellow for 35 years. Always been good. My son rang on his mobile to get home from the ice rink and he was told he owed £12.30 from a trip in. February. He's never called for a taxi before. His phone is locked and he was in an exam in the morning and walked home. Waiting for someone to ring me with more details. Very odd.

Called Yellow Cars in a bit of an emergency (panic) in the early hours of the morning as I had received a message to say my partner had been rushed in to hospital .
Where I live is quite a way out of Yellow cars normal area so I was very grateful that the helpful phone operator was able to accept my booking.
I was informed of the companies tracking facility which is an efficient and effective service.
The taxi arrived very swiftly and the driver was friendly and professional with a very clean vehicle .
Thanks to the operator and the driver I was soon at the hospital with my partner.

Cannot fault this company. Started using them roughly 18 months ago when the "other" taxi firm were rude,abrupt and disrespectful.I've never had a problem with yellow cars. The drivers are all friendly, helpful and chatty. Never had one late cab. Their fares are consistent and fair. They go out of their way helping me with carrying shopping. I even know some drivers by their first names. Wouldn't use any other firm. You're OK with YELLOW.
