John Lowe Driving is an established Driving School, serving our students from Gloucester and the surrounding areas. All of our instructors are fully qualified, highly motivated and professional. They are all on the DVSA register of Approved Driving Instructors. For your safety, comfort and progress, they have all been CRB checked.

The Taster Pack is a great way to get started, as you can get used to your instructor and car without committing to a block of 10 lessons, which can be pricey at the beginning.

John Lowe Driving exists to provide high quality driving instruction, in a friendly and positive atmosphere, coupled with top class customer service, leading to customer success. The office will do its best to answer all customer calls between 9am & 6pm Monday to Friday. Driving instructors will offer a recap of the previous lesson and agree the subject of the current session.
Our instructors are all very experienced and have hundreds of successful passes between them. We are so proud of our instructors and the work they put in for all of our students, which is why we have one of the highest pass levels in Gloucestershire. He is a very talented guitarist and somehow is able to conjure well known tunes out of thin air, always with his trademark smile.

You can expect top quality local driving lessons from our well known instructors in Abbeymead, Abbeydale and the city. The car that you will learn in will be clean, modern and comfortable, with all the additions such as dual controls for your safety, power steering and air conditioning. Our team of male and female driving instructors are of the highest order and you will find them to be professional, friendly and patient.
John Lowe Driving have been offering driving lessons since 1980, and in Brockworth since 1989, having built a reputation of being the premier driving school in the local area, which includes Hucclecote and Coopers Edge. We currently have four fully qualified local driving instructors operating in the Brockworth area who have all been CRB checked for your safety.

I was always very nervous to take to the road and learn to drive, but right from the start Tom made me feel comfortable. He was very patient with me, I did make a lot of mistakes to start with. His excellent teaching paid off as I passed first time! I couldn't be more happier. Massive thanks to Tom and John Lowe driving school. If you are looking for a reliable and professional driving school then look no further!

Last year I had 20+ lessons with an instructor, I had only ever driven around, never reversed, never went on a country lane or dual carriage way or even attempted any manouvre even though every week I was told "next lesson we will do it" after so long I gave up and went somewhere else. After 5 lessons I passed my test first time. Completely wasted my time and simply wanted as much money as possible. I was not the only one same thing happened to a guy in my class with the same instructor. I would avoid!!
