Crinan Canal holiday cottages are two self catering traditional two bedroom canal side cottages with log fires each sleeping four on the banks of the Crinan Canal, Cairnbaan, which is on the West Coast of Argyll. Both cottages are ideal bases for walking, sailing, fishing and cycling along the nearby tow path towards Lochgilphead, nearby woodland tracks and Crinan.
Both of these cottages have each received a Certificate of Excellence from Trip Adviser. The cottages are dog friendly and one behaved small dog is allowed in both cottage living areas by prior arrangement. Unlike some other cottages, Crinan Canal Cottages there is no charge for dogs - who are most welcome together with their responsible owners.

Directions for both cottages: From Lochgilphead, proceed south along the main road (A83) and at the final roundabout, take the A816 to Oban. Continue along A816 for approximately 2 miles, until the road forks to the right and shows signs for Oban. Take the left hand turning into Cairnbaan. From Oban, take the A816 south for Lochgilphead.
Crinan Canal Cottage is situated in the much sought-after hamlet of Cairnbaan, a charming area of unspoilt natural beauty approximately halfway along the Crinan Canal, which stretches from Ardrishaig to Crinan. The canal itself is picturesque and beautifully landscaped, and provides plenty of interest with the daytime passage of boats to and fro.
