Franco's is a steward of traditional culinary elegance, offering a refined menu inspired by the regional cuisines of Italy, complimented by a tailor made wine list. Located just outside of Leeds city centre, Franco's is a destination for families, business people and savvy diners alike. Our clientele is anyone with an appreciation for good food from a family run business.
The pedigree of the man who brought Pizza to Yorkshire is well known. Yorkshire's most dynamic and enduring Italian is still at the helm (yes, he's still working 7 days a week), albeit supported by his son Franco Jnr and their team who's core have been with us for over a decade. They continue the longstanding tradition of good family friendly service, accommodating anyone and everyone, well, as many as the restaurant will seat.

Services
Upon being seated at your table, the members of your party who are dining with us may be offered complimentary bread & olives. All menus are sample menus, all items and prices are subject to change. Due to the nature of the business and only fresh produce being used, certain items may sell out, or be unavailable.
Once you've decided what you fancy for lunch, be it a baguette, a focaccia, salad or ciabatta. Choose your filling from our wide selection of fresh produce. You can pick all the salad you like and have the option of 2 toppings from the meat or fish section. Customers were asking if we do focaccia and salads to take away almost daily.

Always a warm welcome and Franco makes the effort to speak to every customer.
Food as always was superb and good sized portions.
Had a quick lunchtime treat of pasta and salad with the pictured tiramisΓΉ to finish.
Not a cheap place, but quality is worth the extra.
My only slight problem is with background noise, but think that's maybe down to my hearing, as I've experienced the same in other Italian restaurants which have hard surfaces on the floors and walls to reflect rather than dampen ambient sound. I didn't let it spoil my meal though!

Stumbled upon this gem when plans to get burgers across the way didn't pan out. Glad we did - 10 stars for the service. Franco & his son were super friendly, & we enjoyed recounting stories of his prior restaurants, moving up to Leeds & the joys of cycling!
I had the lobster ravioli which was delightful & my partner had the risotto - which he really enjoyed.
There's a small section that has heating (in case you're dining now til May) & a larger outdoor section without heating which is where we sat - it was perfectly fine if you're bundled up.
Would definitely come back when back in the area
