We are also potentially subject to tax upon our death. Inheritance tax is a tax on your estate. Your estate includes the total of everything you own and a share of anything you own jointly e.g your home. For the 2015/2016 tax year, no tax is charged on the value of your estate up to 325,000. This is known as the 'nil rate band' and everything above this is taxed at 40%.

Adam has a real breadth of experience and knowledge about property finance. He was able to introduce new concepts to me, and with over 16 years experience in Property Investing, that was very refreshing. He also really understands the numbers and was able to use illustrations and examples from past projects to help me understand the options available to me.
