His purpose was not to compete with more traditional firms who offer a complete range of legal services but, rather, to focus on providing specialist advice in an exclusive number of areas which affect most people at some point in their lives. As such, Stuart deals with Conveyancing, Wills, Confirmation (Probate), Trusts, Inheritance Tax planning, Powers of Attorney, Guardianship Orders, Care of the Elderly and Charities.
In order to alleviate some of the difficulties which tend to arise as a result of charging clients on the basis on an hourly rate, Stuart was also keen to ensure that all work be carried out on a "fixed fee" basis which is agreed with the client in advance of any work being carried out.

My parents are extremely happy with the legal work you have carried out and would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Stuart Easton at Eastons Private Client Solicitors to friends and family members who are looking for local, high quality legal advice at affordable prices. Stuart was very pleasant and easy to talk to; explained things in easy to understand language; very helpful and friendly.
At the moment, almost 70% of adults in Scotland do not have an appropriate Will in place. This means that, for the vast majority of people, complex and outdated legal rules will dictate how their assets are to be distributed in a manner which, in most cases, they probably wouldn't have chosen. Whilst almost everyone would agree that it makes sense to have a Will in place, the reality is that most people "never get round to it".
The Law Society recommends that everyone over the age of 50 should have a Power of Attorney in place. Appointing an Attorney to look after your affairs in the event of old age or infirmity can save thousands of pounds and can also save a lot of distress for family members at an already difficult time.
The death of a loved one can be an extremely difficult, and exhausting, time and we appreciate that dealing with the necessary paperwork can be daunting and stressful. We can help you to identify what needs to be done and will guide you through the whole process as efficiently and sensitively as possible.
Wealth which has been built up by hard work over a number of years, or possibly even a number of generations, needs careful protection from excessive tax bills or claims by third parties to ensure that it will be enjoyed by future generations. It's becoming increasingly difficult to "have your cake and eat it", but there are still a number of ways in which assets can be protected for your own benefit and for the benefit of your family.

First class service from a first class solicitor. Their speciality is wills and powers of attorney. The office is conveniently situated in Elderslie for visiting, which is a bonus these days when you travel by car. When you do realise you do need a will, visit Eastons solicotors for the best advice at a fixed fee.
