Services
Broadfield is a family business, run by John, Helen, Alex and Frances (with occasional help from the two smallest family members, Isaac and Grace). We are all very hands on and absolutely love working with our guests to make their stay special, no matter what its purpose might be. If you'd like to find out more about Broadfield, please take a look around our website or feel free to contact us at any time.
Broadfield is a wonderful home from home for 18- 22 guests and is exclusively yours for the duration of your stay, whatever the occasion. It could be a family birthday, a reunion of friends, a special hen do, or just the chance for a countryside getaway. The house dates in part from the 14th Century and is packed with beautiful original features - wood panelled walls, stucco ceilings and roaring fires in nearly every room.
Broadfield is available for location hire for film, television, editorial purposes or product launches. Broadfield has numerous locations in and around the house and grounds to provide a variety of backdrops. With its long historical heritage, Broadfield's main house can be used as a setting for historical film or imagery, with original features dating back to the 14th, 16th and 17th Centuries.
If you are interested in holding your event at Broadfield, please call or email us to discuss how we can work with you to make it truly special, whatever the occasion. If you are a local supplier and would like to work with us, please do get in contact. We are more than happy to hear from new suppliers or those who previously worked with the venue as Broadfield Court.
You can explore the house, the bar, the upper barn and the grounds, almost as though you are actually walking through those spaces. It's a brilliant way to get a feel for Broadfield prior to a visit, or indeed to be able to show your family and friends. Or if you'd rather sit back and watch, you can press play and let a video style tour take you through the whole of Broadfield without lifting a finger.

Wonderful Winter Wedding Venue
Broadfield is an absolutely beautiful venue, being able to hire the whole house for the weekend was great as it meant we could really relax before our wedding party. The rooms are beautiful and have been tastefully decorated, our favourite being the sitting room with a gorgeous open fire which we all settled round on the Friday evening. The owners; Helen, John, Frances and Alex couldn't have been more accommodating and our evening was perfect.

We had a long weekend here for my 50th birthday with 3 other families, with a range of ages of teenagers and young adults. We all had a fabulous time - the bedrooms and bathrooms are lovely and immediately made people feel they were having a real treat from the moment they took their things up. The big living/dining rooms with real fires (ready laid for us) were great and the kitchen and house were perfectly equipped for a big group with lots of fridge/freezer/oven space and large pots, pans and serving dishes - important if you are cooking for 18! We enjoyed using the outdoor pizza oven and fire

We held our wedding reception at Broadfield Court in July 2021. We shortlisted a number of venues in the area but we visited Broadfield first and then cancelled all the other viewings because we knew this was the one. The house and grounds are stunning, and the whole surrounding is tranquil (no aeroplane routes, motorways or trainlines in earshot). The team (Helen, Fran, John, Alex) run a very professional ship and were always on hand to deal with queries in the run up to the day, and were very accommodating in letting us visit multiple times and benefit from Helen’s advice. We were married when

Broadfield is the most wonderful place! We spent an idyllic 4 nights here and couldn’t have chosen a better place for our ’staycation’. The house is cosy yet vast, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. The grounds are an added bonus, absolutely stunning and the kitchen garden was fabulous, our children enjoyed picking raspberries and exploring the wildflowers. The owners Alex and Frances were so friendly and helpful. They have thought of everything and catered for all ages. Thank you so much...we can’t wait to come back!

Broadfield is truly a beautiful getaway, even in Winter. From a warm welcome by the owners, a roaring fire, Christmas trees and twinkling lights only added to the magical feel of the historic building steeped in history. Far from feeling overwhelmed by the size of the place with only our family of five staying, it has plenty of warm, cosy areas to curl up and enjoy the peace and a good book. The pool room was a favourite with the kids, the delight at finding the stack of board games, and endless games of hide and seek kept everyone happy and the halls ringing with peels of laughter.
