Your wedding is a very special day for everyone because of all the wonderful and memorable things that happen. Planning your wedding is an exciting time for both to share. At the reception the usual lineup waiting to greet the guests is as follows, the brides parents followed by the bridegrooms parents, then the bride and the bridegroom, then lastly the bridesmaids and the best man.
With your own spacious private patio overlooking a wooded area of the grounds, you can enjoy the grand oriental themed room and its imposing king size bed, carved with twisted pillars. The wall to wall mirrored bathroom has a walk in shower, but you might prefer to relax in the sunken jacuzzi and then watch a romantic movie on the 50 LED TV.

No bar open, breakfast put in a bag for you so we didn't take it. Lovely lady takes you to your room and then you think let's just leave.. Haven't been decorated for over 40 years I bet. Really run down but the building got character.. No shower to use. Other peoples hair left around the sink. I was up and out by 8,30am

Location and Doreen was really helpful. The room could do with a little tlc but it was clean and tidy. Had a hair dryer and tea coffee and biscuits. All good. The garden's need some time on them and it was a bit of a shame to see them in the current condition. With some time they could be amazing again. Breakfast was the packed lunch and although I do like a full English it was OK. Not sure why however they can't do one now? Bed comfortable and nice bathroom etc. We stayed in Alan Suite. Pub 0.6 miles away and really good food and atmosphere. Called The Secret Garden.

A really comfortable place to stay, though I suspect affected by the results of the pandemic. The room we stayed in was full of character with fantastic vistas from our room which was filled with light and comfortably roomy. The location is perfectly placed as a base to explore the surrounding countryside and towns. I'm sure the owners will bring the place back to its pre-pandemic glory especially the grounds. Clean and tastefully decorated rooms meant that the overall tiredness did not affect our stay. Would gladly recommend.

Should have read the reviews before booked. Spent just under £400 for 3 nights really gutted we wasted our money.
At first view looked amazing however when you get a closer look the place is a state but has soo much potential.
The room size to be fair was decent and was clean enough, the bath was lovely but the bed was ridiculously uncomfortable. Not a massive deal but was meant to be a 4 poster bed but looked like 2 of the posts had been taken off ? If you dimmed the lights they would flicker furiously.
What shocked us the most was the "breakfast" it was actually disgusting and we will eat

Comfortable bed but overall disappointing . Didn’t see anyone in 2 days, bar closed, breakfast was a carrier bag packed lunch. The grounds and building is run down and needs attention. Struggled to get in and out of bath&shower as nothing to grip and was extremely slippery. Shame as could be beautiful. Best thing was walking distance to good pub.
