Made an online booking which was not replied to. I then made a telephone booking for later in the day. When the time came no taxi, so I rang them and they said they didn't know where the driver was!!! Driver eventually came but was so late I had to make alternate arrangements. This seems a regular theme with Taxi firms in Newton Abbot 😡

If I could give 0 stars I would. Called on behalf of a vulnerable customer who's phoned had died. Received an extremely rude response when following up on a booking for said customer. Booking had been cancelled, for valid reason I was unaware of but firm refused to speak to the customer to explain this to them. Very rude to me when I was only trying to help out a stranger and ultimately put the phone down on me. Would not recommend this taxi firm at all.

The drivers have been a lifeline for us as we live out of town & are not able to drive ourselves! With exception to one undesirable experience which was quickly resolved everyone at Gems have been so helpful to us over a long period now!
Felt I couldn’t give less than 5 stars due to the Service offered and friendship shown! They are a wonderful group of dedicated people and richly deserve all praise given!!
