The Early Years Foundation Stage ( EYFS ) sets the standards that all early year's providers must meet to ensure that children develop and reach their child-developmental milestones. It promotes teaching and learning to ensure that children are ready for big school and gives children a broad range of knowledge and skills that provide the right foundation for future progress throughout their lives.
My daughter has been at Oxford's British Orchard nursery for 8 months now and in that time has flourished and is so happy. The care and focus she receives from her key worker and other staff is excellent. The venue itself is lovely and a lot of effort is put into new set ups and activities every day, including lots of messy play, reading and singing, independent play and, of course, time with the pets!

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Reliability, Responsiveness
This is a fantastic nursery, the management team are professional and always on the end of the phone for any questions I may have. My child skips in to the setting every morning to be greeted by their key worker who is always happy to see them. They ensure that my child's needs are met and that all information is communicated.

An amazing nursery in an equally amazing location. The care, consideration and attention the children receive is exemplary. The staff pay attention to each child's strengths and weaknesses which is verbalised to parents and ideas for developing them. All staff demonstrate an excellent attitude and have excellent relationships with the children.

A really fantastic nursery with dedicated and attentive staff. Although I find it hard to leave my son at nursery on my working days, I am completely reassured that he is having lots of fun and is in safe, caring and capable hands. Attendance at nursery has had a positive influence on my son’s development. The nursery also uses ‘Baby Days’ app which keeps me completely updated with how he is, from what he’s eaten, to nappy changes and photos from the day. This is really excellent for parents that like to be kept updated throughout the day. I thoroughly recommend this nursery to parents

I can't recommend British Orchard Nursery highly enough. My (clingy) 10 month old has settled in exceptionally well which I put down to the kind, caring and nurturing staff. The Manager has been fantastic, flexible with our requirements as well as creating a strong bond with my little boy. The setting itself is bright and engaging with a lovely outside space (complete with rabbits!).
