We rented a property through Vincent Shaw that was also managed by them, and they were brilliant. Christianne Tippler in particular who managed our property was always responsive, caring, and professional. We were worried at first since we had heard some bad stories about renting through letting agencies, but our experience was the complete opposite and I would highly recommend them.

We had a great experience buying our flat with Vincent Shaw. Jonathan Myles was extremely helpful, cooperative and responsive. He was patient with all our questions and offered great support through the entire buying process. Jonathan and Zach even went out of their way to help resolve some issues we had post-completion. We rented a property through Vincent Shaw for close to 3 years, and can’t recommend enough. Christianne managed our let throughout, we were always given ample warning and flexibility with any work or checks that needed to happen. The online system to manage your tenancy is very handy, and not something I’ve used with other agents. The inspections during and at the end of our tenancy were very fair, and we ultimately felt respected as tenants throughout. Jonathon Myles at Vincent Shaw was our estate agent when we purchased a house in Cambridge. He was thoroughly helpful and professional throughout the process. For instance he would always facilitate surveyor and tradesmen appointments with the minimum of fuss, he helped answer all our questions about the property, he sorted problems when they arose and we couldn't have asked for anything more. I used Vincent Shaw in the selling of my house recently. James was really professional, patient and efficient. It wasn't a smooth journey as I lost my first buyer. James put it back on the market swiftly and sold it within days. I also dealt with Jonathon who is equally helpful. I couldn't recommend Vincent Shaw enough. Do not hesitate to use these guys over the rest. You wont regret it.

This company accepted a deposit from my student son and his friends to rent a property, they stopping searching for alternative accommodation only to be told 4 days later that the landlord decided to accept three female students instead. While technically this was not illegal,(at least I'm told it's not illegal but I will be consulting with my lawyers tomorrow)it is unscrupulous and unethical not to mention sexist.They had no alternative accommodation to offer and left them high and dry! So I would advise you or yours not to have anything to do with this company! My son is now homeless

BEWARE things look, bad, really, really bad. Busy bees raking it in for themselvesI even suspect false or greatly flowered up 5out of 5 reviews here and on Yell, which has already made my one 1 star review 'disappear'.
Latest: VS have not paid back the deposit, over £1600, for the past two months, clearly in breach of tenancy deposit scheme rules as there is no reason mentioned by anyone in the required timescale to take any money, which hasn-t been agreed by landlord and tenant. Landlord confirmed there was no reason and has said deposit was free to be returned. But VS have not returned

Vincent Shaw on The Broadway of Mill Road reminds me of the countryside. I am not entirely sure why, perhaps it's the decor. I have been inside this, sophisticated, estate agents a few times for enquiries and they are very kind and helpful. I do recommend giving them a try when wanting that house or flat!
