Castle Construction was started as a brickwork partnership in the 1960's by Reg Botham developing small projects including extensions and remedial works. Castle Construction Building Ltd continued to develop, and the company quickly grew expanding its customer base and its area of operation, whilst at the same time focusing on quality, health & safety and it's clients needs.
Since becoming a limited company Castle Construction Ltd now undertakes scaffolding packages. We also build a number of our own developments, as well as maintaining our core business of subcontracting.

Services
Health & safety is in house paramount to our company, and we have our own full-time in-house NEBOSH qualified Health & Safety Advisor to ensure our Health & Safety Policy Statement (below) is adhered to. Castle Construction Building Ltd is committed to the provision and maintenance of safe and healthy working conditions for all our employees and others who may be affected by our work activities.
Accidents can kill, injure and disfigure and they cost all of us money and restrict our work and social lives. Our key aim is to eliminate work related accidents and ill health and avoid these consequences. Everyone working for Castle Construction, whether employees or sub contractors is responsible for Health and Safety.
For over 40 years the nucleus of our business has been the growth and development of our brickwork company. From the 1960's where we started on small projects such as extensions, to current J1million plus projects, brickwork remains our core focus. We price any sort of contract depending on our clients needs; from labour only, to labour and mortar, right through to full supply and fix packages.
We made the decision in 2005 to do our own scaffolding. This has proven to be a great success as scaffolding was becoming a real problem to our progress on site. Keeping the scaffolding in-house means that we are self-reliant which eliminates any possible delays to the programme. As an accredited contractor, we are committed to an annual assessment of our Health and Safety procedures.
The semi-rural village of Stanfree is surrounded by fields, yet is only a short drive from Bolsover and Clowne, where there are many local amenities including schools, restaurants, bars, Post Offices and several supermarkets. The area is ideal for commuting to various commercial centres due to its close proximity to junctions 29a and 30 of the M1 motorway.
