It all started around the age of 12 when I began helping my father with his property lettings company.
I would work evenings and weekends, primarily on student accommodation properties in Sheffield which he owned. In addition to this my father also ran a construction and architect design company, and was also the principal building inspector throughout Sheffield. I suppose you could say that growing up around this environment I was destined to work within the construction industry.
