My name is Cathy Preston and I am a Chartered and HCPC registered physiotherapist specialising since 1999 in musculoskeletal injuries and their rehabilitation. I provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment for people of all ages who are struggling with pain and who are finding it difficult to continue with their every day activities.
From the elite sports person to the elderly, I see individuals with conditions ranging from lower back pain to complex biomechanical presentations. My approach is very 'hands-on', working with you to get you back to the things you love to do.

Physiotherapists are highly-trained in the assessment of musculoskeletal presentations. During your first appointment, a full history of your condition and it's symptoms will be taken following which your physiotherapist will carefully examine the affected area, along with any other areas thought to be associated with your problem.
There are many forms of physiotherapy treatment and rehabilitation, from specialised 'hands-on' techniques designed to encourage the movement of soft tissues and joints, to exercises taylored to help fire-up key muscles to do their job correctly. A physiotherapist has an enormous spectrum of treatment modalities to choose from in order to manage a person's injury or condition.
I am extremely fortunate to work with Jonathan Stanley, a musculoskeletal podiatrist specialising in biomechanical conditions for over 25 years.

Recovery from a signifcant, life-changing injury can be a daunting prospect, particularly when litigation is involved. Individuals who have sustained serious injury affecting their functional ability may be assigned a Case Manager who will deal with many aspects of their recovery process, including sourcing the appropriate health professional to provide an assessment of their injuries to recommend the necessary care and rehabiltiation.
