Services
Model Bridal was established by Director Jana Svalbe in 2015 and we assist brides' from across Sussex as they search for their perfect wedding gown. We have a trusted team looking after brides across our two boutiques - Mode Bridal in Hove and Whyte Weddings in Worthing. Our friendly stylists have all taken part in the highly regarded 'do you speak bride' training programme.
Our expert team of stylists hand-pick all of our wedding dresses and we hold a luxury collections from world-famous bridal designers including Essense of Australia, Evie Young and Madi Lane. Whether you are planning a garden wedding or more formal affair we can help you to achieve your dream look. Made to order dresses at Mode Bridal range from around 1,400 through to 2,200, with sample dresses starting around 500.
To give you the best possible dress shopping experience we are open by appointment only, so please make sure you book an appointment well in advance, particularly for Saturdays which are extremely sought after. Leave yourself plenty of time to find your dream dress as most made to order designs take approximately four to five months to be made, although shorter timescales can be accommodated by some designers.
Mode Bridal is open by appointment only, from Tuesday through to Friday from 10am to 4pm and every Saturday from 9am to 5:30pm. Saturday appointments are charged at 25, which is fully redeemable against a purchase of the dress from us at the appointment. If you do need to cancel your appointment, please give us a full 7-day notice and we will be happy to refund your appointment fee where applicable.
We are open by Appointment Only between hours of 10am and 4pm Tue- Fri and 9am - 5:30pm on Saturday. Saturday appointment are charged at 25 which is fully redeemable against the purchase of the dress at the appointment. I cant recomend Whyte weddings enough. The staff were absolutely wonderful and made a special moment memorable, they couldnt be more helpful.

I had a wonderful experience trying on wedding dresses in this beautiful boutique. I came down to Hove from London particularly because of their beautiful selection of Madi Lane gowns. My sister and I were greeted by Jana who immediately made me feel really comfortable and overall the boutique had a great atmosphere. Jana's advice re dresses and accessories was amazing and she took a lot of care to pin the sample dresses so that they fit me perfectly. Ultimately I decided to go with a dress from another boutique but this was probably my best wedding shopping experience and I cannot recommend Mode

I'm a vendor in this industry and I spent over a week researching the best bridal boutiques. Mode Bridal are the best! Jana (the owner) has a fantastic ethos... all of their bridal stylists go through an in-depth training programme to fully understand what it means to be a bride and how to celebrate and share their special moments - I love this! All of their dresses are simply amazing! I can't wait to work with them here in Sussex. Any bride that works with Mode Bridal is so lucky!

My wedding is in 2 weeks, and I have just picked up my dress! The whole experience at Mode has been a 5 star service the whole way. Jana was amazing when I first chose my dress, and was so friendly and helpful. It was really nice to be able to take photographs, and video call a family member in as other bridal shops wouldn't allow any photos. Thank you Jana and everyone else at Mode!

I can’t recommend this bridal shop enough! We were greeted by Jana, who was so friendly and welcoming. I was very unsure on what kind of dress I wanted, and she was extremely helpful in helping me decide not only what type of dress I would like, but also what dress would suit me! I was able to try on around 11 dresses, but I know if I needed to, she would have let me try the whole shop! Every single dress in there was beautiful. I managed to find my dream dress and I’m so happy, all thanks to Mode!

I only needed a veil when I booked my appointment at Mode Bridal but Jana still gave me a first-class experience and made it really lovely for me and my maid of honour. We quickly found the perfect veil, at a very good price, and it arrived very fast. Jana is so lovely and has a natural ability to make you feel better about any little concerns with your dress. I'm definitely recommending this boutique to my friends!

Jana really went the extra mile to give me a special bridal experience in spite of all the restrictions in place. She made me feel so special and not like I was compromising in any way by having a try at home appointment. Mode was one of the only bridal shops providing this service at a time when panic was starting to set in about getting a dress on time for 2021 - which really shows Jana understands what her clients need and is prepared to make it happen.
I hadn't ever tried on any wedding dresses before so I was sceptical that I'd find 'the one', but Jana put so much effort into understanding

Today I said yes to my dress and I cannot thank Jana enough!
She made me & my mum feel so welcome and the experience from start to finish was amazing.
We first visited 2 weeks ago and were shown the most beautiful range of dresses, I tried about 5 on and narrowed it down to 2 however due to being indecisive I couldn’t decide on the day. I felt absolutely no pressure to decide and Jana made me feel so comfortable and recommended I carry on looking. We booked for us to come back and visit, and I’m so glad I did!

I can not recommend this boutique enough. From the first try on session to the last fitting, everyone at the shop made me feel so comfortable and happy. I chose my dress at the first appointment but they were so patient in letting me try on more dresses just to make sure. The seamstress also made my dress even more perfect by adding pockets!! Truly my dream dress. Thank you so much to everyone at Mode - you are all amazing and made choosing my wedding dress the least stressful part of wedding planning.
