A. Different people learn at different speeds. The Driving Standards Agency say that on average it is 40 hours tuition plus practice with a relation or friend. A. A valid provisional driving licence. If it is the old style (just a paper licence) it must be signed & accompanied by some form of photo identification.
Before you can learn to drive you must be in possession of a valid provisional licence. You can apply for your provisional licence 3 months before your entitled to learn to drive. Not everybody wants to learn to drive in a manual gearbox car, some like to learn in an automatic. At K2 Driving School we offer automatic driver training as well as manual. There are several reasons why you may want to learn to drive in an automatic gearbox car. You may have a disability that stops you from using either clutch or gear stick.
Every day, 2 under 25's die in road accidents in the UK. Pass Plus gives the opportunity to newly passed drivers to build on the skills that you have learned during your driving lessons. The Pass Plus course can be taken at any time during your driving career but it is mainly aimed at young drivers within a year of passing their test.
A lot of people think that they are a good driver but at the back of their mind there is quite often something that bothers them about their driving skills. As driving instructors it's quite surprising how many people ask us questions about driving, and these people already have full driving licenses.

Gary from K2 was my instructor. He is the best instructor for anyone who wants to learn from scratch. He's been v encouraging and supportive. He made sure that I got the basics right. Even with the manoeuvres, his reference points were v easy to understand. I've learnt with other instructors in the past, but actually got the hang of driving when I started lessons with Gary. He would always end the lesson with a debrief session which helped me understand the areas tht I had mistakes.
