Boreham House has a rich history, it is a truly amazing Grade I listed mansion with a stately avenue of trees, between which there is a breath taking formal lake. Once inside the house you are surrounded by history. A great deal of the original features have been retained including the stunning high ceilings with decorative handcrafted plasterwork, original fireplaces and solid oak panelling.

When we drove into Boreham House with it’s imposing entrance and the gorgeous lake, we knew this was the venue for us. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and our daughter’s wedding was a momentous and memorable day! From the Civil ceremony in the main house to the Hindu ceremony in Henry VIII suite to the evening reception in the Pavilion, we made full use of the House and the gorgeous grounds.
The owner Teresa takes a person interest in every detail and called regularly on the day to make sure all was well, despite being away at a family wedding herself!

Such a beautiful venue with amazing scenery, staff very polite and willing to go above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Accommodation was very clean and the breakfast had a wide variety for all of us to enjoy. The best thing we found was the way we was made to feel so welcome. Would love the chance to come back again. Wow what a venue! Me and my wife had our wedding on the Friday just gone at Boreham house. We had such an amazing day (despite the fact we had to do our Indian wedding, civil registry and reception all in one day), and it was all down to the beautiful venue and the amazing people that run Boreham House. The two people in particular who were amazing were Lauren Barnett who was our events manager on the day and Teresa Ward who owns Boreham House.

Boreham house is simply AMAZING! Went to a friend’s wedding last week Friday, I have got to say this place has a superb scenery and I would most certainly recommend this place for any special event.
