Dr Karen Doherty has been an accredited counselling practitioner for over 30 years. She has extensive experience in professional and pastoral settings working with groups, couples, and individuals with a diverse range of issues which include bereavement, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, work related bullying and harassment, trauma - post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
This counselling course is delivered from a Christian perspective and is aimed at those who support people through their work, church, voluntary or pastoral settings and are keen to develop their counselling skills and apply this in a practical way to their setting. It takes an in-depth look at the subject of counselling and putting counselling theory into practice.
