Pollokshields Burgh Hall Trust, responsible for the maintenance and operation of the Burgh Hall and Lodge within Maxwell Park is seeking additional Trustees to address the needs of the Trust and to engage with the wider community. The Halls are used by community organisations and for weddings and parties.
The Trust would like to hear from individuals able to input their knowledge and skill in fields such as marketing, financial management, public relations and property maintenance. Please respond indicating the professional or other skills you could bring as a trustee together with past experience, if any, in working as a member of a team of trustees to direct and assist the staff engaged by the Trust.

Our beautiful building is situated in the picturesque grounds of Maxwell Park, Pollokshields Burgh Hall is an idyllic location, situated in the southside of Glasgow convenient to the M8 and M77 motorways. At Pollokshields Burgh Hall we want you and your guests to experience a day that will be special and memorable for many years to come.
We are delighted to announce that The Trust has now transformed it's lodge houses into beautiful bridal suites decorated in keeping with the image of the Hall. It is a stunning building with multiple rooms of many sizes. The building, its rooms and the hallway are spacious and warm. The natural rich wood decor fit us so well that minimal self-decoration was required.
A range of classes and activities run at the Halls on a Tuesday and Wednesday during the week. Please check our notice board for information. The Hall is truly turning into a cultural venue with our jazz, book club, art classes and gin festivals. We would like to go further and are fielding many enquiries from local charities.
We are alwasy delighted to hear your views and welcome any feedback which we woudl ue to improve our services. The Hall has disabled access through the lower ground floor at two separate entrances with access to a lift for the main floor. The hall can also be directly accessed to the main floor by a ramp at the front door.
