I had ACL reconstruction surgery in January 2020, however because of lockdown I wasn’t able to continue with physio at the hospital (where the surgery took place) I second guessed my own rehab and was able to return to football approx 11 months later and things were progressing ok. Over the last couple of months my knee started to swell and I became a little worried that I had I damaged the knee again. I decided to get a professional opinion so booked in with Peak Well-being. I saw Mike. From the start of the consultation he listened and understood my anxiety. He took me through the stages of

Each time I come here I lose at least 5 minutes physiotherapy time of, for example, a 30 minute slot. I suspect every customer loses-out in this way. That is at least £5 "lost" each session; question their deliberately iffy timekeeping and you are told "that's the treatment completed." On one occasion I was charged fully for a 15 minute session! With the exception of one newish male, their work is good - hence the lone star. So - keep your eye on the time and question their timekeeping: they may get the message.

Many thanks to Matt for getting me into a position where i could run with no pain and to complete the Sheffield half marathon last weekend. 4 weeks ago i would never have thought i would have been able to compete never mind complete the race but thanks to Matt's knowledge and professionalism, i followed his advice and had one of my best runs for some time. A massive thanks to Matt and the first class team at Peak Wellbeing.

I admitted to being a total cynic about physiotherapy in my first appointment with Mike and I am happy to be proved wrong. I've suffered on and off with pelvic/hip pain since having my son in 2013 & recently it had been keeping me awake at night. I saw Mike for two sessions and after the combined exercises to do at home and massage he gave me at my second session, I have noticed a huge difference already. I've still got a few weeks left of exercises to strengthen my muscles but feel so much better already that I'm happy to write this review! Thanks Mike!
