Services
We definitely encourage case continuity, so please request this when booking your appointment. When you call the normal Fordingbridge practice number (01425 657700) you will have options to be directly transferred to the duty vet's mobile phone. Cats and dogs are commonly referred to Anderson Moores in Winchester, or SCVS in Ringwood.
Pilgrims is a business and it supports our livelihoods but none of us chose this vocation for money. As a result many of the team have the opportunity to take an additional week of leave, covered for by the practice, to volunteer their services with either WVS or Mission Rabies.
This allows us to do something we love, without economic restraint and help animals in places where veterinary resources are lacking or where people depend on the health and welfare of their animals for their livelihoods. It fires us up for the job we love and harnesses the idealism which made us want to choose this field of work in the first place.

A sat nav will bring you straight to the practice using our postcode (SP6 2JH). Alternatively, from Fordingbridge, take the road to Cadnam/Southampton. Pass the petrol station on your left hand side and follow the road for approximately half a mile, going up hill.
At the top of the hill the road bends around to the left to Godshill (towards Sandy Balls holiday park), here you need to turn right (an effective straight on) down Blissford Road, to the left of the war memorial. The practice is about 300 metres on the right side of the road.

If your insurer asks you to complete your claim online, what we need from you will be greatly simplified. Please note the process may differ between insurers. Attach the clinical history, along with a copy of any payments you've made (you do not have to keep any receipts). Please note the processing of direct claims is discretionary and based on the relationship between the insurer and the clinic.
