When we worked as Montessori teachers in a long established Montessori School little did we realise that more than 30 years later we would be running our own unique nursery in Leamington Spa embracing all the changes in nursery Education that have taken place but finding Montessori as relevant and exciting as ever.
Such is our passion for Montessori that we are now an accredited Montessori teaching school which is a massive privilege. We are involved in the nursery on a daily basis and give support to our excellent management team who share our vision to provide the best care and education possible for your children.

Maria Montessori was born in Italy in 1870. At a time when education for girls was considered to be unnecessary, she chose to study engineering and mathematics and, even more remarkably, she went on to become the first female Doctor of Medicine in her Country's history. It was through her work as a doctor, treating children with special needs, that Montessori became interested in education.
Babies and Toddlers enjoy the security of their own building. This includes playroom, rest and sleep area, milk kitchen, changing facilities and their own outside play area. We have created a homely and welcoming atmosphere for the children to play and relax in.
The play area is well resourced with a variety of toys, puzzles, creative activities and physical play equipment, which encourage learning through play, following the EYFS and early Montessori principles.Equipment is hygienically maintained and regularly changed in order to provide new experiences for the children.

The EYFS Framework explains how and what your child will be learning to support their healthy development. Your child will be learning skills, acquiring new knowledge and demonstrating their understanding through 7 areas of learning and development. These prime areas are those most essential for your child's healthy development and future learning.
We ensure that our children learn about healthy food and the benefits that it gives them. They enjoy growing, harvesting, preparing and of course eating their home-grown fruit and vegetables. Nutritious healthy food is prepared on site by our qualified cook for our Toddler and Pre-School children. The menu is prepared to ensure that it is healthy, nutritious, balanced and enjoyable.
All children are eligible for funded Nursery Education from the term after their third birthday; this is for a maximum of 15 hours per week for 38 weeks of the year. We also offer 30 hours free childcare for those children that are eligible. We also offer similar funded places to two year old children who meet the eligibility criteria.
