This is a tough review to leave. The staff were mostly great... fantastic even. But there was a bizarre experience with the night manager who made us move 10 feet to different seats due to "risk". When asked what the risk was he said "me loosing my job". We mentioned this on leaving and the staff showed genuine concern.
Rooms are decent and clean. Showe us large and good hit water and pressure, but some dirty grout.
But, overall, I would stay again.

Was not very happy with the accommodations. We got our room and it was freezing, called the front desk and they tried to sort it out but it kept glitching. Stayed two nights in September 2021. Overall nice hotel, spacious double room, friendly staff. However the double bed was way too bouncy for two light sleepers... Breakfast was sufficient, but if you must use oil to cook an omelette (which of course you shouldn't -- using butter is the only correct method) go gently and don't drench it!

I have just come back from having afternoon tea at the hotel and had a very enjoyable experience. It was value for money and the host John provided excellent service. There was one very small issue that was dealt with very quickly and professionally. I would certainly recommend having afternoon tea there.
