I was quoted £395 for the replacement of a corroded safety valve on a boiler. As a non specialist, I contacted other companies to investigate the typical costs. Every single company stated that the price quoted was over £100 too expensive! Several times, I’ve politely requested a breakdown of parts and labour, unsurprisingly I haven’t had a response!

I called ABC when my hot water stopped working, and asked for a boiler service too. I was given a choice of times that an engineer could come out, within two days, and was given clear information about the cost on the telephone. The engineer arrived on time and was friendly and efficient and managed to fix the hot water. The price was exactly as I'd been told (and very reasonable), and as the engineer carried a card machine I was able to use my debit card. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company.
