Services
Once you pass your test and you get your first car, you open up new adventures. You will have the freedom to drive to and from college or work, visit new places, family and friends. Your first lessons will be carried out in a safe environment, you will learn in a new dual controlled car and train in a suitable area ideal for the standard you are at, for example quiet roads and car parks.
The theory test is made up of two parts; the multiple choice part and the hazard perception part. You need to pass both parts to pass the theory test. Once you have passed the theory test you can then apply to take your practical driving test. The multiple choice part is delivered using a touch screen computer and the hazard perception part records your responses through the use of a computer mouse button.
The 'show me, tell me' questions require you to explain to the driving test examiner where and how to check the tyres, brakes, fluid levels, lights, direction indicators, power steering and horn. You will be asked two questions, one 'show me' and one 'tell me' question. Manufacturer's guide, use a reliable pressure gauge, check and adjust pressures when tyres are cold, don't forget spare tyre, remember to refit valve caps.
We also now offer Pass Plus courses for new pupils looking to build upon the skills they've already learnt and save money on their car insurance at the same time. Pass Plus is a course for new drivers that have recently passed their driving test. The course builds upon the skills you gained while learning to drive and will teach you how to anticipate, plan for and deal with all kinds of hazards.
