The most common reasons for back and neck pain include, discs, muscles, ligaments and joints. These structures can be injured directly by traumas or lifting or by postural problems and prolonged sitting. It is vital that early intervention is sought as this dramatically reduces the risk of further complications, which can have long-term consequences and increase recovery time.
Most people with tennis or golfer's elbow do not have them as a consequence of too much sporting exertion. Commonly, these problems occur as a consequence of postural over-strain. Often work related or linked to over-use. Usually they come on gradually, but they can occur as a sudden or acute problem.

I went to see Tony at Rushcliffe Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic for my left knee pain.
I had been a keen runner but since my knee pain started I had stopped running over 6 months ago. Tony helped me back to my running and now I'm aiming to complete a half marathon next year with a rehabilitation program that he designed to help stop me getting injuries.
My experience was 5* from initial consultation to treatment and I will 100% recommend Rushcliffe Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic to any of my friends and family for the outstanding and professional service.
Thanks Tony and the

I went for a Rotator Cuff Tear. Staff where very polite and understood the problem. However the exercises he gave me put way too much load on my shoulder. He suggested exercises using my body weight which was too soon for the severity of my injury. A separate physio suggested rest and minimal movement shoulder exercises and my shoulder got much better. Seemed like a great place to go, just wasn't as helpful for my injury.

Highly recommended.. I've had two sessions with Deborah White MCSP HCPC for a painful shoulder problem and the improvement after each visit is remarkable. I've left each appointment with more mobility in my shoulder and a big decrease in pain. Very informative as to the causes of my shoulder issue and exercises in aiding the rehabilitation of the shoulder. Helpful and friendly staff.
