The Mount Pleasant Hotel has 17 lovely bedrooms with en suites. In keeping with such a historic building each room in the hotel is different from the next. Imaginatively decorated and furnished, they boast a mix of designer wallpapers, fabrics and lampshades & feature mirrors. Deluxe and superior rooms have silk or linen curtains with interlinings.
Whether you stay for just bed & breakfast, enjoy an afternoon tea in the garden or are tempted to dine with us, all our food is freshly prepared each day with love and care by our chef Julian, We source many of our ingredients locally from west country cheeses, locally baked bread, meat & game from our award winning butchers to fish caught by the fishermen of Brixham.
Leave the Motorway at junction 30, from the roundabout follow signs for Exmouth/Sidmouth. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit (straight ahead) onto the A3052 which is the main route to Sidmouth. Stay on this road and after climbing the steep hill out of Newton Poppleford the right turn to sidmouth is approximately 300yards after the top of the hill (opposite the Bowd Inn).
