Very convenient for The Hawth, a quick 5-10min walk up the road. It is a basic no frills hotel, but very clean and tidy, with good decor throughout.
You do get lovely fluffy clean towels, a comfortable bed with lovely fresh linen, a general body/hand/hair wash in the bathroom, hairdryer and tea/coffee facilities in the room, and a good self service breakfast in the morning. Rooms generally aimed at business people with desk, and plenty of plug points! (Same old hotel issue with position of mirror (full length) to plug point if you want to use your own hair styling equipment, you'll need a long

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the past five years, and it never disappoints. This is a superbly managed hotel (and I'm a tough customer as used to work as a concierge in 5* hotels).
Nothing is too much for the absolutely wonderful staff. They go above and beyond. We stayed on an extremely busy bank holiday weekend, whereby the hotel was fully booked. The restaurant was struggling with capacity - but the staff handled it fantastically. There was ample staff, who were extremely calm, polite and helpful. What could have easily been stressful chaos, remained an easy and nice experience
