Took my car in yesterday because the check engine light came on and I got a warning about the DPF. They regened the filter and reset a faulty heat sensor. They didn't charge me a penny because there is a chance the sensor may act up again. Could not fault them at all. All my family use this garage and now I know why. If I get any car troubles in the future I'll be taking it into ashcrofts!

Had the car for nearly 3 weeks. Very poor communication. Ended up going down to the garage to see what was going on. Still can’t commit to a date of getting it back. No urgency to fix the problem. Had to hire a car because it’s taking so long (£49 per day.) Should have read the reviews before booking the car in. Certainly won’t be using them again I’m afraid.

Had what i thought was a serious problem with my car on the dual carriageway in Penketh, rang Jeff and he told me to bring it in straight away. Turned out that an allen key which was lying in the road had punctured the front tyre, the situation was dealt with there and then at a fantastic price. I have been using this garage for a few years and they are very honest and trustworthy, a lovely family business who i would very highly recommend.

Started taking my BMW here and really happy with them, saved me a small fortune on Halliwell Jones prices, does a great job, explains everything when you collect the car too. I was attracted to them as they specialise in BMW (as well as other manufacturers) and have not been disappointed.

Booked the car in for wheel alignment. On booking was told it was an hour's job but needed the car for the morning. Dropped off at 8.30am but by 11.45am still hadn't heard anything. Rang garage to be told it was still on ramps. Explained I needed the car by 12.30 as was picking my daughter up from school and was then going away. He wasn't impressed with that and said he would try and look at it. Rang back at 12.30 to be told 'i didn't give him much time' I had to get the car and on getting to the garage was told he would need it back as it was still not done! I advised that was not possible due
