Their peaceful village location make them an ideal base when visiting North Yorkshire, whether you are visiting for a romantic week-end break, visiting friends in Pickering, Helmsley or Malton, or you are looking to enjoy a week or two holidaying with friends and family. 2 to 28 day breaks available.
The Gelding is an immaculate two bedroomed, two bathroomed gas centrally heated, stone built house. The Gelding self-catering holiday cottage ground floor features a lovely sitting room with living flame gas fire and large kitchen diner. The lounge of the cottage has a leather suite, 32 inch TV with free-view and DVD player.
Bay Cottage is a light and airy one bedroomed, gas centrally heated holiday cottage with open plan living accommodation and is ideal for romantic weekend breaks. Bay Cottage kitchen area is fitted with a dishwasher, washing machine, oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. This charming self-catering cottage also features is a dining area, a delightful light lounge area with 28 inch TV with Free-view and DVD player.
There is something for everyone to do or see in North Yorkshire. Wrelton near Pickering is only a short drive from many top attractions, historic buildings, moorland and forest walks and the lovely beaches at Whitby, Scarborough and Filey. The compact village of Wrelton is by-passed by the main road (A 170) from Helmsley to Pickering.
From Pickering head West on the A170 for 3 miles taking the right turn signposted Wrelton, Cropton, Rosedale. Follow the road round into Wrelton Village and you'll see the entrance to The Huntsman on the left hand side. From Helmsley travel East on the A170 for 10 miles, passing Kirkbymoorside, then taking the left turn signposted Wrelton, Cropton, Rosedale.

Well just back from staying at The Huntsman in Bay Cottage for 7 nights March from 7th, what can I say yet again another great stay at a welcoming place, Andy and Tracy make you feel very welcome from the start to the end of your stay, it's like being at home but more relaxing.
The cottage is fully equipped with everything you would need to make your stay very enjoyable and very clean and tidy and very warm.
Also a great place to stay if looking to get out and about i.e York, Scarborough, Whitby, Castle Howard and many more.

Warm friendly welcome from Tracy & Andy, excellent top quality self catering accommodation & pet friendly. This hidden gem is ideally located to do as much or as little as you wish on your holiday, with many attraction within driving distance or just enjoy the beautiful Yorkshire moors on the doorstep. The Huntsman is close to the local pub that serves great food & the bus stop is just outside (if you want a day off from driving)
