Sands Farm is a complex of mellow stone buildings clustered around a landscaped farmyard (with 2 pet goats!). Set within 1.5 acres of grass paddocks and surrounded by open farmland in the rural village of Wilton on the edge of the vale of Pickering. Only 4 miles from Pickering, 14 miles from Scarborough on the East Coast, and 2 miles from the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.

Chapel Lodge has 4 bedrooms and sleeps 8 (2 doubles, 2 twins) and is the largest of the holiday accommodation. This converted chapel retains its superb pitch-pine ceilings to the first floor and offers spacious accommodation. Daisy Cottage has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 6 plus 1 (2 doubles, 1 twin). Originally the byre this cottage is ideal for adult parties.

The dining room with its party sized table has a servery hatch from the kitchen which is fully equipped with all modern conveniences.
Daisy Cottage has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 6 plus 1 (2 doubles, 1 twin). Originally the byre this cottage is ideal for adult parties. Daisy consists of a spacious dining hall with double doors leading to the large modern fresh kitchen which is fully equipped. There is an extra table and chairs for snacks and coffee.
Fuchsia cottage is a one bedroom cottage for two people all on one level. The large open plan living area features a 42 Plasma screen T.V. and Leather suite. There is a separate dining area and a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar. The double bedroom has a king size four poster bed and en-suite luxury wet-room with power shower large enough to accept a wheelchair.

We have just returned from a 4 night stay in the Chapel Lodge - taking both parents aged 81 & 82 - myself, my brother and sister all had one of the best times ever - Andrew and Julie are simply the best hosts, Julie made some home made Thai food, which was a first for both parents - as was the fun in the hot tub! Such beautiful settings, clean, spacious, wonderful Chapel and not forgetting "Oscar" the doggy who is always so excited to greet any new guests with a lick and a waggy tail! Superb! We will definitely be going back ! 😁😁

We stayed at Sands Farm for the third time (twice at Honeysuckle and last week at poppy cottage) and we can honestly say it won't be our last stay. The cottages are beautiful and clean and the hot tub is an added bonus. Andy and Julie are the perfect hosts and nothing is to much trouble. Julie's Thai cooking is a treat! The cottages are ideally situated to allow rambles in the breathtaking North York Moors or a short drive to the coast. We can't wait to come back! Jutta, Mark and Hannah

Clean, friendly staff, very helpful. The cottages are comfortable and the whole holiday was 7 days of bliss. Julie is a great cook as well 26th excellent portions. Hot tubs hot and clean.
Couldn't ask for more. And as a added bonus we got to see Englad beat Germany 2-0 so even happier memories.

We stayed for 4 nights the 6 of us and our dog at the Rose cottage accommodation, nice style and very comfy beds. The location is very quite and surrounded by farm animals, which makes the experience even better.
Owners are simply nice, genuine and friendly people, if you go you must try Julie’s cousin, 5 stars. Very relaxing experience with a private hot tub. Absolutely 100% recommended.
