Cranford House is a tasteful Keswick B&B accommodation that is quiet and relaxing, and conveniently situated in close to the centre of Keswick in the Lake District. We aim to provide high quality, fuss-free, and comfortable bed and breakfast holiday accommodation in our Victorian town house, still with many original features.
At Cranford House you are guaranteed freedom from flowery wallpaper and doilies often associated with B & B guest houses! And our location in Keswick makes us handy for the town centre, for the lake and for the fells. Non smoking (but we've got a nice bench in the garden available for smokers and non smokers).

Services
Cranford House has a total of 6 bedrooms, 4 of which are en-suite doubles or twins, along with 2 single rooms. Both the single rooms have their own wash basin, and share a bathroom and 2 toilets. All rooms are centrally heated and have tea, coffee, and hot chocolate making facilities. We've tried to be a bit different with our choice of decor - more Ikea than your granny's house!
Our guest house is located on Eskin Street (number 18), a five-minute stroll from the centre of Keswick. After 18 miles take the slip road to Keswick. At the T-junction turn right towards the town centre. You are now on the Penrith Road heading into Keswick. Pass a BP garage, fire station and Twa Dogs Inn Pub on the left, under the old railway bridge.
Trusted and long established supplier of outdoor adventure activities in the Keswick area and pioneers of the Ghyll Scrambling evolution, Ghyll Extreme. Theatre by the Lake has brought the magic of theatre and the excitement of the imagination to one of Britain's loveliest and remotest counties.

Carol and Kev run a very homely B&B. It ticks all the boxes for seasoned walker's who need a friendly welcome, clean and warm room, and amply + tasty breakfast at a perfectly reasonable price. I've stayed here with an all male group many times over the last 10+ years and will continue to whilst the Lakes remain beautiful 😊
