At Joyce Young in Glasgow and London you will find our JYC (Joyce Young Collections) of very feminine, elegant wedding dresses designed to flatter and compliment your figure. The JYC wedding dresses are designed by Joyce Young and are exclusively available in our own salons in London and Glasgow. We have a wide choice of styles in satins, crepes, georgettes, chiffons and organzas some with lace some with beading and many with both.
Our Couture wedding gowns are crafted from the finest silks and European laces, some with intricate beadwork. These are all made with the utmost attention to detail here in the UK by our dedicated staff in our own purpose built design studios. You can choose a design exactly as shown or make your own changes to customise your dress.
Mothers starting to look for a very special outfit to wear to their daughter or son's wedding usually contact us saying they don't want to look like a "typical mother of the bride or groom". We specialise in creating elegant, soft, relaxed outfits to make you feel your best. All our outfits are individually made to measure and you can mix them up to suit your own personal style.
Autumn/Winter Casual Chic is a collection of contemporary flattering styles in top quality crepe and knit fabric which both come in a choice of six colours. The styles are all cut to be loose around the waist and tummy and are relaxed and easy to wear. They can be dressed up with our silk scarves or faux fur collars and cuffs or wear them with boots and a beret for a touch of French chic.
Signature is a collection of our flattering classic styles which are very suitable for a relaxed Special Occasion. This is a capsule collection of dresses, coats, trousers and tunics which can be worn in different combinations and comes in a choice of colours.
The dresses were beautiful, very well received and they felt amazing to wear! Huge thanks again for all your help in the lead up to the wedding, particularly during a challenging time - I was so pleased with the dress on the day and it was a dream to wear!

I was very disappointed with the service I received when I was at the Glasgow store on 8th November. I’m a plus size (size 20/22), but was keen to try something on to decide whether I would personally would suit what I had my eye on. The Tartan Collection looks great on the models used on the website. I first saw the collection in February 2020 at… the Scottish Wedding Show.
I was told there was nothing I could try on as all bespoke…. And that the total cost would be approx £2500.
I appreciate that it’s anyone’s choice on what they pay for a Mother of the Bride

I worked with the team at Joyce Young to get a wedding dress made bespoke for my wedding in October 2021. The experience was nothing less the magical .The team are talented, warm and encouraging, which in the wedding industry is so needed, especially as a lot of brides have difficulties with body image around their weddings. They made the most beautiful dress and nothing was too much of a problem. I would honestly recommend them to anyone! Thank you Mary, Colin and Valerie for making my dreams come true!

I had been to many shops and tried on many Wedding dresses. Joyce Young was by far the best experience! The quality of each gown I tried on was premium quality and so well made, each dress was in perfect condition. Great quality products and wide selection of accessories on display to help complete the look. The entire shop is spotless and I felt so special every time I went for my fittings. I came across this shop my accident as I was viewing a bridesmaid dress and in all honesty it was the best accident I ever made! From the get go everyone was so welcoming and made me feel like a super star.… When I brought my mum back to try on dresses were lucky enough to meet Mary! She helped me try on lots of different styles and made such good points about each dress! Then came THE dress and as soon as a I put it on I could tell from Mary that this was it. She couldn’t wait to get me out to see my mum! I stood there in front of that mirror and knew from everyone’s reaction

This place is MAGIC and exciting - from the moment I walked in, it felt like leaving a dream. Every single dress is simply superb - being both classy and of a high quality and yet original with really beautiful cut. Mary, Deborah and the team are just the nicer people ever. Mary interpreted all my request better than my imagination, and managed to create my dream dress in minutes. I have been trying dresses in many shops in London and Italy and Joyce Young was by far my best experience. I can’t say enough good things about this team! They are literally perfection....Colin, Mary, Joyce..I could not have asked for a better experience! The dress was elegant and everything we chatted about, no ask was too big. Colin and his team worked on every little detail and I never felt that any small alterations were too much. I would thoroughly recommend Joyce Young for Mother of the Bride outfits. The outfit I chose was far superior to anything else I had seen! It was made to measure - brilliant for me as I am very tall (6ft) & it was lovely to have a well fitting outfit. The style & fabric were amazing! The whole experience at the London shop was wonderful - from start to finish, I felt important. Both Diana & Mary were very knowledgeable & professional, but also warm. I cannot sing enough praises for Joyce Young & her team.
