We are a family business that includes myself (Rob Leighton) and my dad (Bill Leighton). We have worked together since 1997 producing thousands of Baby portraits and Family portraits. The studio has evolved to be able to facilitate a great variety of work and received an Associateship from the Master Photographers Association for dance photography in 2020.

Celebrate your family with a fantastic family portrait. Our family portrait shoots are fun and relaxed. During the shoot we will work through a selection of poses that suits the size of your group, exploring different ideas to capture your family looking their best.
During our family portrait shoots we will also photograph a variety of combinations such as the kids together and individually, just mum and dad together and other combinations that we think will work well.The session lasts around 30 min to 1 hour depending on what we want to achieve and the age of the children or babies involved.

Treat yourself to beautiful professional portraiture, the session fee is only 39 and we will also give you a complementary desktop size print to choose. A viewing appointment at the studio in our viewing lounge where you can relax and choose your portraits. Add on vouchers are available so you can also contribute to other products if you wish to do so.

We will work through a selection of baby portraits using different backgrounds and props that suit the age and ability of your baby. The babies usually have fun being entertained and enjoy the experience.
Action shots look so impressive and must be lit very precisely in order to capture the best of the dancers shape. We love capturing the energetic side of dance photography, and this gives the dancer a chance to express their personality and flare. Rob has also been awarded the accolade of Associate of the Master Photographers Association for his dance photography.
We approach our Hobby photo shoots starting with some classic portrait shots to warm up our models. The use of dramatic lighting is used throughout the session. This style of lighting is important in giving depth to our portraits and essential to Fine Art Photography. If using props we then start to establish some initial ideas and explore various poses.

The most amazing team, very friendly and helpful with the entire day, we worked well collaboratively on a dance shoot using different costumes and ideas, with rob ensuring that every pose and action shot was perfect before we moved onto the next.
I would recommend the studios to everyone, the images were incredible, more of an art than just a photograph.

I took my granddaughter for a 'fairy' session. Not only was the photographer very profession, he made us both at ease, had lots of different costumes and props and the photos turned out absolutely beautiful! Better than I ever imagined they could. A wonderful experience for me and her.
