We listen to children's theories and give them the opportunity to test their hypothesis. We allow children to explore their interests freely during play, encouraging them to achieve their full potential. We believe all children should be encouraged as individuals and be given the space to develop as creative competent learners within an inspiring space.
Our team of childcare professionals work hard to provide all children with the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge during their time with us. Gooseberry Bush Day Nursery is situated between Tetbury and Cirencester within a single storey building featuring high specifications and facilities to ensure a safe and stimulating environment for all children.
We offer wide and varied learning experiences to extend development, taking into account individual interests and needs, placing each child at the heart of the curriculum. There are seven areas of learning and development that shape our early years programme, each of these areas are connected. The remaining four areas, the specific areas help to strengthen and support the prime areas.

Fantastic nursery. GBK provides a really engaging and nurturing learning environment for children. The staff are lovely and make sure the children have varying and stimulating activities every day. Management are friendly too and approachable. Our daughter was very well prepared when she started school.

Both our children have attended the nursery and loved it. The staff have been helpful and have always kept us updated with our children’s progress. Our eldest attended for 2 years before starting school. The staff prepared him well for his future education which has helped him make a successful transition to primary school.

I chose this nursery which came highly recommended by a friend.
Even though it was out of the way (we live in Royal Wootton Bassett) - it just felt right. We had just adopted our little boy and he needed the right place to settle and with staff understanding about adopted children.
The nursery had the right environment, the staff knew their stuff and the owner was just amazing. Being a teacher myself I felt really confident leaving him there.
From day one we saw our son thrive and start to engage with adults and other children. We knew it would be a tough order for a nursery but they gladly

Amazing nursery!
We looked around for a while and had a bit of a time of it. From initial meeting and showround it became very clear that this establishment oozed knowledge, care and attention detail of its operations.
I must admit I was one of those parents that was hard to please. The management and staff were really put thought it with my questioning. I was completely satisfied.
When my son attended he always came home happy, stating what he had done that day which was a change to where he was previously.
If you are considering this nursery, go have a look. It is amazing. They truly are
