I've been practicing physiotherapy for 25 years, and when I set up my clinic in 1997 it was with the aim of providing a professional, friendly and welcoming environment, with a level of clinical expertise and advice that would get patients back to full physical fitness as quickly as possible. At Nicki Haves Physiotherapy we are a team of friendly, experienced, Chartered Physiotherapists working in a modern, well-equipped clinic.

We specialise in a wide variety of areas including joint, muscle, and tendon conditions, back and neck problems, sports injuries, orthotic fitting, arthritis, and women's health. The clinic also offers Pilates and Podiatry. Whatever your condition, we aim to get you better and help make sure you stay that way.
Services
On your first visit or initial assessment we will ask a lot of questions about how and when the problem started, where it hurts and what makes it feel better or worse. The more we know about your problem the easier it is for us to help you!

We will listen to what you have to say before we assess your problem and examine you; then we can talk about how we suggest treating your problem, the techniques we might use, how long it could be expected to take to get better, and what you can do at home to help yourself. We will always make sure that you leave with a clear idea of what is going on; if at any point you have a question always feel free to ask.
A. No, however if you have private medical insurance we do recommend that you contact your provider as they may require a medical referral to authorise reimbursement of treatment charges. A. Yes, if the Physiotherapist is Chartered and is a member of the Health Professions Council (HPC). All our Physiotherapists are Chartered and HPC registered.
We work closely with a number of local Doctors and are happy to give advice over the telephone on musculoskeletal conditions and appropriateness of referral. The most common question we are asked is'"how soon should I send someone to you?" The answer depends on the injury, but if your patient has an acute injury - a serious sprain or soft tissue injury for example - you should send them as soon as possible.
Physiotherapy is concerned with restoring healthy movement and regaining full activity wherever possible. It can restore joint mobility, muscle flexibility, strength and coordination after injury or disease, and plays an essential part in pain relief and healing.

Our Physiotherapists are trained to diagnose problems in the joints, nerves, and soft tissues of the body, and will conduct a comprehensive assessment and treatment plan for your particular problem.
Taking part in sports and leisure activities helps fitness and improves general health and well being. There are occasions, however, when sport and leisure activities can lead to injury and when prompt, expert, treatment is needed to get you back in the game. With acute, sudden, or traumatic sports injuries we will provide a comprehensive rehabilitation programme, individually designed to get you back to your sport as quickly as possible.
