Elston Hall Learning Trust is underpinned by the moral purpose to change lives for the better. We are committed to maximising the potential for our children, to support and meet their personal needs. Elston Hall Learning Trust have vast experience in Initial Teacher Training and are proud of our achievements in turning inexperienced trainees into outstanding teachers and leaders of the future. Many of our trainees now hold positions in middle and senior leadership roles across our Trust. It is expected that trainees will go on to work within their host school, although there is no absolute guarantee of employment.
School Council
Report
They listen to suggestions and ideas that are of importance to their peers and the good of the school. We have an active School Council which comprises of representatives from Year 2 and Key Stage 2 year groups. They are elected annually by their classmates. School councillors work together within their team and form links with their class, year group, staff, whole school and community to enhance, make changes or support fundraising events.

Earn points, get active and win prizes for you and your school in this fun, FREE, walking, cycling and rolling game. Our netball team thoroughly enjoyed representing the school in their first Inter-Trust Netball tournament.

To create a caring and inviting environment in which the child's own efforts and independence is supported and celebrated, enabling children to develop a sense of belonging. To offer a variety of learning opportunities, that are both fun and intellectually stimulating and in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage Development Matters Framework.
Year 1
Report
We hope that you and your children are well and we would like to welcome everyone back to the start of a new school year. The autumn term is always a busy time for children in Year 1 with lots of new learning taking place while building upon their prior knowledge from Reception. English and Mathematics will continue to be taught daily and focus on key writing skills and mathematical calculations.
