Our Story Report

It has been over 30 years of culinary service under Dr Miah's Rajnagar in Solihull and now becomes the longest running Bangladeshi/ Indian Restaurant in the whole of Solihull thanks to your long support and dining over so many years.

Established back in 1987, the Rajnagar has been through many award winning phases, to mention only some are the British Curry Awards twice, Runner up of the Evening Mail ' National Restaurant of the Year' and Tiffin Cup 2015/2017, 2017 AAA Guide Recommended.The Rajnagar further boasts a spell of being Michelin starred Recommended in the past, giving this establishment a cut above the rest of a culinary dining experience.

Myself and 3 others dined here last night, first we had all tried this restaurant and will definitely be returning. Food was cooked perfectly and so tasteful. Staff were all welcoming and friendly. Best curry we have all had in a while. Thank you all again.

Nice food but very rushed ....I was still eating poppadoms and they came and took the dip tray and the plates.....starters was put in front us straight away... then as soon as we finished the mains put in front of us...it would of been nice to of had 5 mins.....seems like they can't wait to get you out.

We love a good quality Indian. Regularly visit Michelin star restaurants. Been our regular for 17 years . Can’t beat a cracking gosht gatta masala - lamb dish . Love it . Mr Khan, Moula ,Momit & Mr T are all the welcoming staff . Try it and won’t be disappointed 👍

Had takeaway on Saturday night I collected, had 3 starters one of which was free & 3 chicken balti’s & garlic naan, the balti’s were delicious with big pieces of chicken in and the garlic naan was tasty. 3 clean dishes, I would definitely recommend!! Really enjoyed it thank you!

Poor service from the staff, waited over an hour for our main after our starter, never once came to the table and asked if everything was OK,no table cloth and no cutlery just got the feeling they didn't want the business worst curry house I've been to around my area 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
