Stephen Parker started as a domestic plumber 30 years ago. Parker PHS still caters for domestic clients in the East Lancashire and West Yorkshire area, but the vast majority of work undertaken is as a commercial plumbing contractor. Refurbishment and maintenance of existing plumbing and heating systems are another service that the company offers.

Their drivers are reckless. One of them in a mini van nearly had me off the road. I saw him coming down the dirt road from their base at the lights. I carried on over the bridge and within seconds he was blasting past several cars (which were going at least 56mph) and me, missing me by inches. (I'm on a motorbike going 58mph). Since they're such cowboys on the road I'd never let them fix any plumbing at mine in case their work is the same
