A surprise, empty but for 1 other couple, we stopped in for dinner after a day in Cambridge. Bolognase dish & a penne w/ sausage, pepper & olives dish were very good. Courteous service & good flavors. (Was expecting poor Italian food for tourists for whatever reason but delightfully wrong). Wirthy of conaiderarion.

Such a fantastic restaurant - been there many times including recently after the new decorations have been done. Lovely and friendly stuff, great value for money. Food as always was amazing - we all had pasta dishes itβs without a doubt the best pasta in Norwich. Authentic Italian chef. Fab wine list too π₯ Will always be a regular customer thanks so much. Top restaurant Top stars πππππ

Food was okay, however the waitress was very rude and belligerent. Chucked a spoon at me and was aggressive to my mum (this has left her upset)
She was always in a rush to deal with us even when we where the only customers, (we werenβt even late! We arrived at 12:00)
So I will have to put a 1 star, the whole experience would of been better if we she nice to us.

Very disappointed this time around went here a few years ago and was amazing
Place has now shrunk from original internal size and it seemed cramped with too many tables I paid Β£23 for a steak and at that price it should be good .it came out in record time (too quick ) in three pieces and I can only think it was speed to cook it I expected one juicy steak itβs not the same it was tasteless with no sides and mushrooms tasted tinned sorry to say weatherspoons is better

Absolutely loved the food. I have been here 3 times now and I cannot wait to come back. Food is just amazing, service too. They went out of their way, twice, to do something that was not on the menu for my husband. However I must say, the menu is delightful and I can't wait to go back π loads of options π I will make my way through the menu π

No Pizza in this Italian restaurant! But to be fair they moved their pizza oven, so you can get it from Dereham Road instead.
Β£5.95 for a bottle of Doombar felt a bit expensive to be honest.
That being said, the waiter/ress/server was better than good. There were a couple of things not available on the menu, but that was OK. Watched as the server really looked after people arriving, and when the food arrived it confirmed we had made a good choice of restaurants.

If the beer wasn't so over priced I'd have nothing to moan

Had a date night dinner at Paolo's, conveniently located on St Giles in Norwich City Centre. The signage is easily spotted, and the interior dining room is spacious and ambient; a decent amount natural light enters through the windows. Various table sizes will accommodate couples and groups alike. I made an evening reservation, but upon arrival it wasn't busy yet.
To start, we ordered Garlic Bread and Bocconcini Al Forno for sharing. The latter was probably the most flavourful and filling dish of the evening, as the plate of Parma ham-wrapped mozzarella and rocket salad was a significant

Paolo's restaurant neighbours the famous Norwich Market Square, with large windows installed on the side facing the public, so you can glance at the vibrant city life as it passes you by. Besides such a view, the majority of the interior offers just as much that is pleasant to the eye. Italian music is played on speakers, which adds to the authenticity of the Italian flavour of the restaurant, as does the Italian staff that serve you. Booking in advance is possible by telephone as well as on the website, but booking on the day is advisable by telephone. However it seems the restaurant does
