We make bespoke furniture in leather, cowhide, wood and metal for individuals and commercial customers across the country. From our own workshop we are able to upholster, manufacture and paint every item we make, and fit on-site where required. We specialise in both commercial and residential handrails, working on and off-site applying leather to existing rails or working with staircase manufacturers to fit leather to new handrail systems.

What started out as a personal interest in the transformation of vintage vehicles turned into a journey that would be filmed by the Channel 4 series 'Amazing Spaces'. An old 1960's Lambretta 3-wheeler and a rusty metal box were turned into a tiny luxurious campervan.
With every inch of metal restored, polished and painted and the interior lined and furnished in leather, the transformation was the perfect project to showcase our skills and knowledge put to use every day in the Hide and Stitch workshop.Found in a yard in California, this old VW campervan was plucked from a line of rusty old vehicles and brought over to the UK for the H&S restoration treatment!

I would never recommend Hide and Stitch. Having placed work with them at the end of 2016 for a 6 month schedule, to had to wait 15 months, with work not completed as quoted. We paid 50% deposit and waited for 4 months before requesting to check progress, but there was none . The proprietor stated we had 'no written contract' . He failed to meet the agreed schedule and promises as to when it would be completed. It seemed that every other job was more important and we just kept getting put on the back burner. At the outset he had quoted for a refit of our Airstream and stated he
