The late Terry Page senior since the age of 15 worked in his fathers Haulage company during the war. He soon become one of the drivers but, maintained all his fathers Trucks. After a hard days driving of 15/20 hours back to back, he then changed Brakes and maintained all Oil levels and Water levels as well as the occasional Engine change.
Terry page senior started his own garage in the late 1960's and his eldest Son Terry Junior joined him, followed by Tony. The youngest son Alan started work at a close friends Engine Reconditioning Company where he very soon became Foreman. Alan and his Father invested in a Crankshaft Grinder, Boring Bar and a few Machines in the early 1980's.

I will give a general overview of what is done to a FULL AP Cars Kent Classic Engine rebuild. Remember we can do this work to every Engine, MGB, Ford Xf Engines, Ford Pinto Engines, Full range of Triumph Engines. It took three weeks on and off to strip this engine, most of which was scrap and as such we purchased a donor engine to rebuild for the customer.
There is nothing we cannot do and after 35 years of boring, grinding, fitting Cylinder liners and building Engines. Alan page is fully confident and capable to undertake any machining jobs, with or with out issues that others may be unable to do! Alan refers to a straight 8 BUGGATI Engine Block that required a cylinder liner.
A P Engines specialise in the machining and rebuilding of Modern and Classic car engines as well as Marine engines. A P Engines are Kent and South east London based. Boats have been in my life from a very young age, I have my late father Terry Page to thank for this pleasure. It was actually my Father that introduced me to the Engine and car world, Like Father Like Son.
