Services
Although Acer Solicitors has been around since 2009, Matthew Shiels has worked as a solicitor in Kenilworth, Warwickshire for over 25 years. In that time he has helped hundreds of people like you to move to a new home; to resolve disputes with their employer, and to take away some of the strain with a Will or Power of Attorney.
Whether you're buying your first property; or moving to something more suitable for your needs; or buying to invest; or selling an aged relative's house - we can help. Our fees are competitive, with no hidden extras. Please contact us for an estimate of fees payable in your case as they can vary enormously, depending on the amount of work involved and the value of the property.
When you have a problem at work it is usually better to contact us for legal advice first, before the matter escalates, perhaps to dismissal. In these circumstances, we operate a fixed fee interview so that you can find out early on what your rights are. Our experience tells us that it is easier to keep a job than to get it back after you've been sacked - so don't delay and phone us now or use the contact form.
More properly called "terms and conditions of employment". It is a legal requirement for you to provide this to your staff in most cases. All businesses are unique in some way and we will draft the terms specifically to suit the particular needs of your business.

You should also consider standard disciplinary and grievance procedures since failure to implement these could result in your business being heavily penalised if you end up in the Employment Tribunal.Ask us, either by phone or on the contact form, about preparing your template for a fixed fee. When you have a problem with an employee you may need to take legal advice before taking further steps.
If you need to swear an Affidavit for court proceedings (for example during a divorce) or an Oath for Executors (when applying for Probate) please call the number opposite or use the contact form to arrange an appointment for this. There is a standard fee of 5 plus a further 2 for each Exhibit (if any).

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value
Matthew has been calm and helpful in the sale of my Mothers house...just what you need. So responsive...always comes back the same day, even if it's to tell you that nothing has changed, which is really re-assuring. Would use again and definitely recommend..

Very good, efficient, no nonsense firm. I've worked in conveyancing in the past (no longer) so know what is involved and very happy with service I got for the sale of my mother in laws property.
Thank you.
